Cookies and privacy choices

Cookies and browser storage can enable a feature to function or help measure usage. We explain the difference and how to adjust your choice.

Text version · Concept, not yet established

How do you adjust your choice?

Via Privacy Choice you can allow or deny consent-dependent statistics. The public explanation remains available if you refuse. For Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, the website code is designed to only start after your permission.

The choice applies to this website and browser. A new selection may be required on a different website, in a different browser, or after clearing browser storage. Withdrawal stops future consent-dependent measurement; Previously received data is therefore not automatically deleted everywhere.

What storage helps the functions work?

Storage in current functions
Storage Purpose Duration or effect
Privacy choice Allow or deny statistics memorization. The choice is valid for 180 days. The local registration may remain until it is overwritten or browser storage is cleared.
Secure Sessions Make a contact feature or account work and secure requests. Depending on the function. The session cookie for the callback form and the assistant is set to one hour.
Screen and invitation selection For example, remembering that a mobile invitation is closed. For the relevant browser session.

A browser cookie and a registration on the server are different things. Expiring or deleting a cookie does not automatically delete a request that has already been sent.

Which measurements can be used after permission?

  • Google Analytics: visitor and page statistics. The website code uses a cookie expiration of 180 days and disables ad personalization. That doesn't say how long data is kept in the Analytics account.
  • Microsoft Clarity: insights into usage and interactions, such as session views. Clarity may use its own cookies. Form areas are masked in the website design; Therefore, do not share confidential documents in general fields.
  • Assistant measurements: With consent, a measurement cookie can recognize visitors for up to 30 days for usage measurements. This is a different storage than the necessary session.

Vendor information: Google Analytics and cookies, Microsoft Clarity and cookies. The actual settings and installed storage must correspond to this explanation.

What can you delete or block yourself?

You can delete cookies and local website data through your browser settings. As a result, a session, a privacy choice or a locally saved proposal can also disappear. First download what you want to keep.

A link to YouTube, for example, opens another provider with its own settings and policies. An advertisement in itself does not constitute consent for tracking. You can ask questions about your data via Privacy Statement or Contact Jurismedia.
